WebOS Support

For support on one of my WebOS applications, please:

  • Check the wiki first
  • Check the official forum thread and post if you have a question. This way your problems are something others can see (and knowledgeable users can help when I’m not available), and of course I’ll answer it as soon as I can
  • If the above doesn’t work, or your issue is something private, email me at: webos@wdtz.org
  • WebOS Projects

Listed below are the various WebOS projects I’ve worked on directly. Projects I had a minor role on are not mentioned here.
    For support email webos@wdtz.org.

    X11 on the Pre

Revival of the old XSDL, bringing X to WebOS, in a card :) . Lots of homebrew has built on top of this, including various automated chroot installations for your linux goodness needs.
Lucky enough to be published on news sites: Engadget and Gizmodo.

    Quake

Ported ID software’s classic Quake to the Palm Pre. Straightforward port, made news because it was the first homebrew app that used the native 3D libraries, before the PDK was released publicly.
Mentioned on news sites such as Slashdot and Engadget.
Note the youtube videos there are with the BETA build. Hopefully someone will upload a video of the recent build soon :) .
